INTEGRAL REHABILITATION PROJECT

Integral rehabilitation project of an emblematic building in Madrid located in the heart of the “Barrio de Salamanca”. The objective of the project is to recover the initial concept with which the building was born.
Built between 1904 and 1907, the Velázquez 21 building was designed by the architect José Espelíus Anduaga for a commission from Francisco Sánchez-Pleites, Marquis of Frómista, in order to use the main floor as his residence, and the rest for rent.
The building returns to the residential use with which it was designed, adapted to our times, restoring the elements that define it and give it its own character, its moldings, floors, carpentry and, most importantly, its original spatial concept. A design as a whole that makes it a reference building in Madrid.
